Created concern: I don't get it...

I realy don't understand this. Hiarchy? like a pecking order? as far as i'm aware there realy is no such thing. Administrator is just a term to describe someone with an exrtra set of tools. So are you saying that regular users will get the tools (blocking, page deletion etc.)? and administrators no longer have access to them? I don't think that it is possible to do this. Are you saying that regular users will decide if something warents a block? This would be terrable and mean that the wiki would fall apart. We'd have people posting porn everywhere and replacing pages with annoying stuff etc. I really don't understand what the purpose of this discussion is..... WolfWink L Auron ⚡ Yeah, that's right baby! Only rollback, chat moderator, assistant, administrator and bureaucrat will have some real powers and policy will cover usage of those powers, but differently. Policy will cover how to contribute to growth of users that are considered less advanced and how to grow as a "New User", "Rollback User", "Administrator User", or what ever level are they now.

In other words, I have added concept of "ESB hierarchy" to make what I have intended possible. So, "ESB hierarchy" is some kind of stages of your "ESB evolution" and that new "ESB policy" will be there to guide you through every stage of your "ESB evolution", while actual stages will be defined through various future discussions. The new ESB policy will not be created over night.

To conclude, according to that new policy system, users will work together to bring everyone to greater level, to greater stage of "ESB evolution", even if some of those stages of "ESB evolution" gives no power to user at all, just acknowledgment, like that some user is now "Amateur User", not "New User".  AW10  Talk  Contribs  E-Mail  10:12,10/18/2015

I hope that my previous comment has cleared things up for you?  AW10  Talk  Contribs  E-Mail  13:31,10/18/2015

Yeah, I see what AW10 means to a degree. Rather than the hierarchy just being a display of authority, you look at it as each stages of the hierarchy helping each other and the community out. Bureaucrats act as mentors for Admins, Admins as mentors for users etc. Still though, no user is above the rules and every user has the same status in that they are still users of Wikia. --Spongebob456 talk 13:47, October 18, 2015 (UTC)

Yes, and as Spongebob456 also said: "basically, each part of the hierarchy helps each other out."  AW10  Talk  Contribs  E-Mail  13:52,10/18/2015

It still doesn't make much sense. Personally I think this is more confusing than the current system. Thwe way this is worded, (reverse hierarchy) it sounds like if for example new user becomes "head user" it sounds like they can get away with anything. So what about the rules? Does this mean if a new user thinks it's okay to blank the Patrick Star page that they can do it? Sorry but before I can understand this a practical example might be helpful. Until I can actually see how the system works I am opposed to this change. WolfWink L Auron ⚡ Yeah, that's right baby! Welcome to my locker! ⚡ Ammy

Okay, there will be a proposal stage where I will reword everything. You will see then.  AW10  Talk  Contribs  E-Mail  15:33,10/19/2015

In the meantime, here is the current draft:

== ESB Policy System ==

=== Main policy ===

"Mentoring each other in reversed hiearchy."

"ESB is our place, it will be every single user fault if we make it an unplaseant place and if you want to be part of ESB, all you need to do is maintian harmony on the way you think it is the best."

=== Level #<num> - <name> ===

On this level, your role is <role>.

=== Level #1 - "Regular User" ===

On this level, your role is to get to know with ESB and editing. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, we have all been or still are on your level and we will help you grow as part of our community.

So basically you are saying get rid of the rules. Sorry now I am really opposed to the change. We need rules in place. Otherwise people will leave and the wiki will fall apart. WolfWink L Auron ⚡ Yeah, that's right baby! Welcome to my locker! ⚡ Ammy
