Neutral votes do not count in determining the outcome percentage.

Introduction

During the initial discussion regarding these rather controversial categories, we only had 45% support in getting rid of them, 27.5% in favor of keeping and 27.5% neutral. Thus, we need a more indepth discussion before we vote on this again. Here is how it will work. Each participant gets their own section as to their opinion on the matter, then once we have collected ideas over the course of the week, we will have another vote. Please explain as much of your reasoning as you can so we can have an in depth understand of both sides. These are the categories in question:

Auron FFX

I don't really care but for the sake of organization or meantioned characters this category is useful. since some have unisex names. WolfWink_L.gif Auron Who you callin' pinhead?! Cyndaquil.png   03:18,1/5/2015

I believe these categories should be deleted for a number of reasons:

  • 1. Male/female can be listed in the article's infobox
  • 2. It's self explanitory as to what gender the character is
  • 3. There is nothing useful about the category. These are wiki categories, not a blog or video that we tag.
  • 4. Too "middle broad," meaning they are not broad enough to be accepted like Category:Characters and not specific enough to be useful for organization.

That is where I stand. AMK152 (Wall • Contrib) 03:16, January 5, 2015 (UTC)
