He also made an appearance in the episode "All That Glitters," when it was revealed that he was simply an actor doing research for a part. He once auditioned for a play or, most likely, a soap opera (possibly a Soap Opera Channel production), but he unfortunately did not get the call-back. He then became a full-time doctor.
