Douglas "Doug" Lawrence Osowski (born January 1, 1969; age 49), better known as Mr. Lawrence, is a SpongeBob SquarePants writer and is also known for providing the voices for Sheldon J. Plankton, Larry the Lobster, Johnny Elaine, and several other secondary characters. He debuted with writing on the episode "Tea at the Treedome." Mr. Lawrence was a writer, director, and the voice of Filburt the Turtle on Rocko's Modern Life, where he also worked with Tom Kenny who voiced Heffer, and also as a writer, director, and the voice of Edward the Platypus and Nurse Leslie the Shark on Camp Lazlo, which are both shows he, the show's creator Stephen Hillenburg, and the rest of the original series' staff have made.
