Dennis Rechid is an elderly citizen of Bikini Bottom. He is light green, but is only seen light brown, such as in the episode " The Sponge Who Could Fly." In that episode he tells SpongeBob that they went to elementary school together. He's in the Mild Ones biker gang. He went to Squidward's Clarinet Recital. He is usually seen at the Krusty Krab. He went to Craig Mammalton's summer shindig. He likes people to rub his scalp. He tried to steal Mr. Krabs' money in the episode " Stuck in the Wringer." He also works at the Barg'N-Mart. In " Slide Whistle Stooges," he can be seen at the Barg'N-Mart reading. He is the manager of Barg'N Mart . He is the first buyer in One Krab Trash. His daughter is Sally. Dennis also makes brief appearances as one of the prisoners in " The Inmates of Summer." He also appears as one of Plankton's cellmates in " Jailbreak!," and he even helps Plankton break into the Krusty Krab. He is Sally and Larry the Lobster's father.
In " Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy," Dennis wore white pants.
In " The Sponge Who Could Fly," he says went to elementary school with SpongeBob, and SpongeBob remembered him right away, Dennis probably did something so important that SpongeBob remembered him. Since he is an elder, and seems much older than SpongeBob, it could be just the fact that he could have been the oldest in his class or school and/or held back in school quite a few years.
