Dennis[2] is an elderly citizen of Bikini Bottom. He is also the adopted father of Larry the Lobster.[1]
Description
Dennis is light green, but is only seen light brown, such as in the episode "The Sponge Who Could Fly."
He is in the Mild Ones biker gang.
He is the manager of Barg'N Mart.
Biography
Dennis went to elementary school with SpongeBob.[2]
At some point, he married Mable.[1]
The two then adopted and raised Larry the Lobster.[1]

Trivia
- In "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy," Dennis wore white pants.
- In "The Sponge Who Could Fly," he says went to elementary school with SpongeBob, and SpongeBob remembered him right away, Dennis probably did something so important that SpongeBob remembered him. Since he is an elder, and seems much older than SpongeBob, it could be just the fact that he could have been the oldest in his class or school and/or held back in school quite a few years.
- In "One Krabs Trash" he wore a black hat with a purple brim.
- He was convinced by Mr. Krabs to buy an umbrella in his yard sale in this episode, saying that it is the queen of Switzerland. Dennis then replied that Switzerland has no queen, however bought the umbrella anyway.
- There is another character named Dennis from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
