Recently, there have been "cheap" edits that some editors have done. Cheap edits are edits that don't need to be done at all.
The most prevalent is changing links. This either means that people are changing links to just be the redirect or changing the redirect links, so it links to the main page. Please stop doing this. The only benifit of doing this is to help you get more points, which is not the point of editing. The point of editing is to help the wiki and improve your skills as an editor.
Fixing grammar, spelling, and punctiation is not a "cheap" edit, but it is something of a problem. While, changing several mistakes is definitely a good thing, changing one or two is helpful, but a bit annoying. I am not saying that you should stop, just try to fix all the errors on a page.
If you insist on doing both of these, i suggest checking the "minor edit" box as these are minor edits.
If any of you can think of any other "cheap" edits, please leave them below.
